I was a bit disappointed in the first 20 minutes or so, but enjoyed the rest of it. Lynn Collins was spectacular as you said. Taylor was good, certainly fits the role physically, but he doesn't talk like a Southern gentleman. Perhaps it is me, but I have a hard time watching young actors in modern films--they don't always seem like "men" in the same vein as Heston, Eastwood, etc. I did love the scenes where Carter jumped from ship to ship. The Tharks were great, although they looked a bit skinny? Woola was my favorite bit. Kantos Kan got a great scene. Just saw the movie tonight.
